You still build apps and services in the Synthetiq Desktop App on top of the Synthetiq App Framework, and deployment is still one click. The difference is where they run. Your infrastructure, databases, application data, and runtime all remain entirely within your own cloud, under your organization's security policies and data perimeter.

BYOI is designed for organizations that require applications and data to stay within their own cloud environment for security, compliance, or operational reasons, without sacrificing the speed and simplicity of Synthetiq-powered application development.

Orchestration Metadata Only, by Design

With BYOI, Synthetiq provides the development experience, application frameworks, and deployment orchestration that make building and shipping applications seamless, but it never processes or stores your application data.

Your application data, user content, credentials, and runtime traffic never enter Synthetiq's infrastructure. When an application connects to an external service, that communication flows directly from your infrastructure to the provider, remaining entirely within your existing security perimeter.

Databases, runtime data, credentials, and service traffic all remain in your cloud. The only information that crosses the boundary is deployment and orchestration metadata.

Your Infrastructure, Your Domain

Every application deploys under your own company's domain, such as:

app-1.apps.company-internal.com

You retain full control over DNS, TLS certificates, networking, and routing.

For public-facing applications, you can also map an app to a vanity URL on your own domain, allowing users to access it through your organization's branded URLs.

One-Time Setup, One-Click Deployments

BYOI requires a one-time infrastructure provisioning.

Your platform team provisions the Synthetiq deployment infrastructure into your AWS account using the Synthetiq CLI. This process can be integrated into your existing infrastructure provisioning and CI workflows.

After that, nothing changes about how your teams build software. Anyone in your organization can continue building production-ready, end-to-end applications in the Synthetiq Desktop App and deploy them with a single click.
